Pink (and modified) Fuzzy Octoplushy

First thing I’ve sewn in 8 years, it was certainly a challenge and taught me a lot. Specifically on working with faux fur. It’s a little wonky but overall im very pleased with it. I plan to make a much larger one out of something easier to sew with than faux fur at some point.

It was a gift, so I had the recipient pick out the fabric they wanted. I’d tweaked the pattern to make the arms a bit more curled and modify some other dimensions to make it similar to the one it was replacing. The eyes are probably a little too close together but the recipient doesn’t care, so neither do I! I stuffed the head to the requested firmness which is why it looks so big and round.

The red dots on the underarms is washable chalk marker bleed through. It’ll wash out but I wanted to post this before I forgot since idk when it’ll be washed.

Hey, thanks for sharing a showcase :tada:

To (also) show this as a showcase on our main website, we’d like to make sure you’re cool with that first.

If you are, please add the showcase-on-website tag to your post as explained in the FAQ: How to mark a showcase post for inclusion on the FreeSewing website

If you do not add this tag, we will not include this on our main website.

Thanks for helping us curate our showcase library

PS: If you have already included the showcase-on-website tag, then please ignore this message. I am not currently smart enough to figure that out on my own :see_no_evil_monkey:

2nd picture, choose whatever one you think is best or both, I dont care.
