Long Pajama Short - Shale Shorts

Just made a pair of long pajama shorts for may fiance (Male), added a bit of space in the crotch, and maxed out the leg length. Pretty simple pattern, you can do a lot with it, and I am happy with the result. The leg standard % is very wide as you can see in the pictures.

Hey, thanks for sharing a showcase :tada:

To (also) show this as a showcase on our main website, we’d like to make sure you’re cool with that first.

If you are, please add the showcase-on-website tag to your post as explained in the FAQ: How to mark a showcase post for inclusion on the FreeSewing website

If you do not add this tag, we will not include this on our main website.

Thanks for helping us curate our showcase library

PS: If you have already included the showcase-on-website tag, then please ignore this message. I am not currently smart enough to figure that out on my own :see_no_evil_monkey:

I love how you’ve used the stripes!

Thanks! It was really fun to work with

They look great. I did much the same, except I skipped the pockets, basically making a wearable muslin.

I plan on making it again, but with a sturdier fabric so they’d be more like rugby shorts. Switching the direction of the stripes for the pockets was a smart way to avoid having to match stripes, and probably saved a lot of fabric!

Yeah, the legs are very wide when you increase the length, this is because the pattern doesn’t use the knee measurement at all. and just uses the upperl leg circumference everywhere (plus decent ease by default).

Might improve that in the future.
