I have been sewing for myself and others for many years but have never made myself boxers. I was going to try to self draft a pair based off of my favourite underwear but I decided to do a Google instead. Very happy to find Bruce! They turned out great.
I used 10% more back rise, 20% longer legs and 0% angle for the pouch. I made the waistband and leg bands out of the same fabric.
I accidentally sewed two pieces the wrong way but I kind of like how the serging shows on the outside. Next pair I’m going to sandwich the front layers around the insert piece, and make the front rise a little lower. Happy happy! Thank you Joost! This is such a cool way to create patterns.
