Hi, I’m kind of new and I’m still learning all the settings. But I wanted to know if there’s any way to create a pattern without having to use another one?
I have my own patterns on paper, but I would like to upload them on this site so I can use them and change the measurements more easily.
Is there any way to do that?

You will have to turn your pattern into code. All the designs on Freesewing are created by running code, using the measurement sets.
This is a good place to start reading before you commit to doing this: Pattern design tutorial | FreeSewing
If coding is not your thing, you may be able to find people to help you with that. There are quite some people with experience in doing this here: Discord

Are you comfortable with computers in general, and perhaps with svg tools like InkScape? One of our developers has made a plugin for InkScape (that’s a vector drawing program) which can be a starting point for turning paper patterns into code.

Thank you!
I will try it and see if I can.
I’m not really familiar with it, but I’ll look into it. Thank you! ![]()
