I am new to sewing, and in the simpler patterns I can figure it out, but in the more complicated, I struggle sometimes with what piece should align whit what other peace, is it possible to at this to the patterns, or what do i miss?
If the instructions have been written well, they should be clear about what pieces go where. And, hopefully the instructions might even include illustrations to further clarify the relationship between pieces.
But, sometimes things aren’t clear or a pattern is complicated. If you can find YouTube videos showing someone constructing a similar garment, often watching them is very helpful.

Please let us know if there is a specific FreeSewing design that is unclear regarding how the pieces go together. We might be able to improve the instructions or pattern to fix the issue.
In general, sewing patterns don’t usually have pattern pieces labelled with information about what sides match up together. Similarly FreeSewing patterns don’t do this, except for a few instances where the author felt it might be necessary for an extra-tricky pattern.

Most patterns have sewing instructions, especially the more basic ones. Have you looked at them?
We definitely can add more markings or something to pattern to help with alignment, but it would be helpful if you could give us an example what seems to be unclear. Otherwise, it’s really difficult to improve.
