- FreeSewing’s bi-weekly hangout is an informal hangout/chat/meeting that is open to everyone.
- The call is organized/hosted by @tangerineshark.
- The call does not have a fixed structure or agenda items. Everyone is free to suggest agenda items, ask questions, or bring ideas.
Location

- Access to the Jitsi Meet meeting is via web browser.
- Login is optional using your freesewing.eu account.
- You can also just join the meeting as a guest.
The Jitsi Meet server is currently hosted on FreeSewing’s preview site. (This will change once the preview site is deployed to the main site.) But, for now:
- If the hangout link doesn’t redirect automatically, you can use the direct link: FreeSewing
- For a smoother experience, users might first want to visit https://preview.freesewing.eu and sign in before trying to access the hangout link.
- If you experience errors signing into the preview site, please select the “Sign in as a different user” link and then try again. (Doing this clears stale cache data that might cause problems.)
Date and Time
Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2026, 4pm UTC, which can be found in your local time zone here.
Meetings are always at 6pm, Antwerp time.
Agenda
- The next meeting on November 7, 2026 will be 1 hour later for community members in regions that do not observe Summer Time or Daylight Saving Time.
- This is because Summer Time in Europe will end tomorrow, October 25, 2026.
- For community members in the United States and Canada, the Nov. 7 meeting time will not change. This is because Daylight Saving Time also will end, on November 1, 2026.
