Hi all, I would like a pattern for a zipper front jacket with raglan sleeves.
Also, out of curiosity, is there a way to see the line drawing that my measurements created?
Thanks,
Joe

FreeSewing doesn’t currently have exactly this pattern, but using the raglan sleeves from Hugo and the front zipper from Huey will get you close. They’re intended for knit fabrics, but as long as you make sure the eases are positive and you have a front opening to make sure you can get into the jacket, woven should be fine.
Unfortunately the line drawings aren’t generated from measurements that way for any of our patterns except Polly, at least not yet.
To get a line drawing of my body, I copied all my measurements into Google’s AI prompt and asked it to draw a body of a man with these measurements. The drawing it created looks a LOT like me. I wanted this as a visual check to make sure I had entered the measurements correctly. Then I saved the image, and I can use it to tell "AI"s to put different style clothing on in.
I watched a few videos about raglan sleeves, and made my own pattern by cutting up an old shirt with inset sleeves. Now I am making a prototype (out of a cloth shower curtain). But when I am done, how do I get the pattern up here for sharing?
Our pattern here are code, see freesewing.dev for a tutorial and reference for how to code a pattern. (Some parts of it may be slightly outdated, but feel free to mess with the code yourself or ask us here or in the Discord server. The Discord server is a bit more active.)
The code repo is here if you want to dive in: freesewing/freesewing: Freesewing's monorepo holding all our NPM packages, including our core library - Codeberg.org
