When I set up my account I chose preferences such as “Keep it Simple” but now I would like to change my preferences so I can sew more difficult patterns and make more advanced designs.
Click on your name in the top of the site to get to your account. Then click on user experience under the preferences heading.
The available patterns are always the same¹, the experience option just controls what UI elements are visible (advanced settings, export options, and functions you need to create designs, fix and diagnose errors and such).
¹) there is a difficulty in filter in the design browser, but you’re probably not talking about that
