  • Joost’s FOSDEM talk is tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, 13:00 CET (UTC+1)
  • Wedding dress made for a wedding.
    • Wearing to 2 more weddings this year. Second wedding season.
    • Pick stitch around a zipper.
  • Working on new jacket pattern. Abandoning Noble as the base, and starting over with Bella.
  • Modern store-bought clothing is not as good quality.
    • The difficulty of making trousers.
  • Upholstering chairs.

    • Getting started with sewing. Making bags, cases, pouches.
    • Working on a fleece cape/cloak.
  • Working on a Victorian corset dress.

    • Why are zippers only on womenswear boots and not menswear boots?
