The call is organized/hosted by @tangerineshark.
The call does not have a fixed structure or agenda items. Everyone is free to suggest agenda items, ask questions, or bring ideas.

July 19, 2025 Community Call

Notes:

  • Misc: Rain, the color of hyacinths, buying too much fabric,
  • Projects:
    • Bucket hat test garment being constructed.
    • Denim jacket is almost done, to be finished this weekend. Will be a design on FreeSewing. Has a full bust adjustment option.
    • In planning: a project with colored denim.
  • Going to a repair cafe, repairing clothing.
  • Acquired another vintage machine. Singer 309 with piano keys on top.
  • Machines we want to acquire.
  • Sewing rooms, small and large. Too-large bedrooms.
  • Air-source heat pumps. Getting rid of gas.
  • Insulating the outside of a roof instead of inside, to save space.
  • Welcome, aethenelle. A skirt block design, Sarah, was merged into FreeSewing. Another skirt design, Gale, was submitted.
  • The meeting Event listed in Discord is wrong by 1 hour. Annoyances with Summer Time vs. Daylight Saving Time vs. Discord time. The issue has been fixed in Discord, for now.
