Can't save preferences on "Your account lacks consent" warning page

Hi there!

My account has been inactive for quite some time. Since I’ve tried to login again yesterday, I’ve been presented with the following warning and page:

WARNING

Your account lacks consent

This should have been taken care of when onboarding your account, but due to a earlier bug in the registration, a small subsection of accounts ended up in this state.

Please complete the form to give your consent, that may resolve the matter.
If it does not, please contact support so we may help you.

Further down, there are two options to check, which I did, without success:

”Do you give your consent to process your account data?”

  • Yes, I do

”Do you give your consent to share your anonymized measurements”

  • Share anonymized measurements as open data

When I try to proceed with either both or one option, or even by choosing to delete my account instead (which I don’t want to, btw), the message “And error occured, please report this” appears, and there’s no way out of it (it takes place of whatever internal page I’m trying to access).

As the warning instructs (“please contact support so we may help you”), here am I to seek for help. Is the forum the right place to post about this?

Anyway, thanks for Free Sewing contributors, this site is amazing. I’m looking forward to be able to access it again. Please let me know if I can assist with anything.

Thanks,
Heber

This will probably require @joost ‘s attention. I think e-mail might be the fastest way to reach him, but posting here is also fine.

@hdmj Sorry about that. It’s a bug that impacts some older accounts that have been a few migrations. If you try again, things should be ok now.

@anna_puk Thanks of the heads-up :folded_hands:

Thank you @joost and @anna_puk! I can access normally again now.
And, no worries - it’s very understandable, especially considering I haven’t accessed in a while.

Thanks a lot for assisting!
