I have a doubt about constructing the buttonhole placket. Im following the Simon sewing instructions and in the “Understanding a classic buttonhole placket” image appear two folding lines, two sew lines and a buttonhole line. However in my pattern appear less lines. Below you can find my patttern of the front left piece. I am using by deafult a grown-on buttonhole placket. There is a butthole line and Im not sure about the other two.
Could anybody please clarify this? Thank you!!
It looks like you went for the seamless buttonhole placket (which is the default).
In this case, the relevant part of the instructions is
If you have chosen a seamless placket, you should follow the steps of the button placket, as the construction is identical.

It’s a bit unfortunate that this combination of options (seamless, grown-on placket) requires two redirects in the instructions (first to skip to the ‘classic buttonhole placket’ section and then to go to the instructions for the button placket itself), but the instructions tend to be written with the more complicated version as the reference.
