Bandwidth use in the first month after the v4 migration

With v4 we also migrated (back) to Netlify as our hosting partner.

So since the start of this month we’re with them, and our plan comes with 1TB of monthly bandwidth.

That’s gotta be more than enough, right?
Right?!

(it’s not :face_holding_back_tears: )

That’s a lot of bandwidth. I hope it’s caused by regular users who enjoy the site, and not by ai crawlers.

Is March really 10 times February?

v4 was launched at the start of april

So V4 consumes 10 times more than previous version?

Sorry, forget it March include only datea from version 4…

Yeah the usage before april was probably just testing the server/prerelease version and so on.

As Jonathan explained, we migrated to v4 on the first of April, and with that migration our main website was moved to this hosting provider.

The traffic prior to April is only traffic to freesewing.dev + a bit of early release testing of the v4 site.

Our previous provider did not provide us with bandwidth data, and we do not run analytics ourselves.

So bandwidth is not suddenly much higher, it’s just that now we have more insight.

I should probably stop checking these forums multiple times per day, that will help. :wink:

That’s quite a bit of bandwidth :hushed_face::sweat_smile:
