Any ideas on what’s the best FreeSewing pattern for a woven fabric tank top? Ideally I’d like something with one bodice dart. Should I just try to draft it myself from one of the bodice blocks?

Personally, I would start with Simone. It can be printed as just a base. Meaning a front and back with no openings, plackets, collars. etc. Then you can add your favorite neckline and armhole styling. It has waist and back darts but you can leave them off if you like.
