I’ve been using the Teagan T-Shirt pattern to teach some courses, and it’s been going great. One of the enhancements I’ve made to the pattern is to draft a curved collar that works much better in my opinion than others, and doesn’t require you buy separate ribbing. You serge together two curved pieces of fabric on this inside of the curve and attach the outside of the curve to the neckline. The curve is there so that the collar lays flat (it’s smaller on the inside than the outside). If you don’t have a serger, a 5mm wide zig-zag stitch and some trimming would work too.

Do you have any close-up pictures? Am I correct in thinking that there’s a seam at the inside of the neck, where you attach inner and outer collar pieces together?
Yes, that’s correct. Take a look at the red partial t-shirt sample at T-Shirts — Bespoke Jam and you’ll see it closer. I typically serge all three pieces together (inner collar, outer collar, neck opening) then cover stitch around the neck opening to flatten the seam and strengthen the seam. Let me know if that helps or more details are needed.

Awesome. Definitely drop in a photo here if you try it out. I’d love to see your experience with it. A quick tip - after sewing the collar closed and before attaching it to the body, make sure the collar fits comfortably over your head.
If the collar is too tight, you have two options to adapt it: make the collar less wide (thereby increasing the radius), or make the collar larger.
If the collar is too loose, you’d probably want to serge it again to make it a little smaller (the collar should be 80-90% the circumference of the neck opening).
